On Saturday 30th July 2022, the Devon Voice Group, in partnership with the St Sidwell's Community Centre hosted a celebration of Exeter’s patron saint, the City’s heritage and Devonian culture with guest speakers, food, dialect readings and music.
Together, they were proud to present a thoroughly Devonian event with expert speakers, food, dialect readings and music from the amazing Jim Causley himself! Speakers included:- Todd Gray, historian Olwen Foggin, former Lord Mayor Mark Norman, folklore expert Paul Cleave, food historian And music from singer/songwriter, Jim Causley and Devonian dialect and folk music expert, Bill Murray 150 people attended a fascinating and fabulous afternoon. |
